In view of the streamlining the system pertaining to punch corrections of the employees of the University, on ERP, the University has decided the following: 1. An employee can apply for a maximum of three punch corrections in a month from October 2022. In case of punch corrections exceeding three in a month, such cases shall automatically be transferred to the HR Department which after the approval of the Higher Authorities shall forward it to the Payroll for implementation. 2. Remarks should be placed by the Reporting Officer/Approving Authority for punch corrections/missed punches. 3. For the incoming punch, the early punch shall be restricted to 30 minutes from the scheduled incoming time for the purpose of calculation of attendance. In view of automation of attendance, the University has decided that the students’ attendance shall be marked by the concerned faculty in real time on ERP using their mobile. The attendance can be corrected by the concerned faculty member with-in 24 hours of the scheduled class after which it may be corrected at the level of concerned College Principal within 48 hours of the scheduled class. In case, if the correction in attendance is required after 48 hours of the scheduled class, it shall be done only after the approval of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. This shall be effective from 11.10.2022. This is issued with approval of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor.

It has been observed that the class-IV or housekeeping staff of the University is being used by the concerned Officers/Faculty members at their University campus residences during the official working hours. It is requested that class-IV or housekeeping staff should not be called by them for work at their residences during the University working hours. Some of the Principals /Deans have not been assigned any course or any teaching workload in the current session. 2.
