Preventive Measures on Corona Virus!

The world has paused with the outbreak of the novel corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic. This far and widely spread disease has incurred massive human loss on global scale, hence taking into account the severity of this pandemic WHO (World Health Organisation) in association with other nations is striving to overcome this epidemic through different measures.

One such measure that a densely populated nation like ours India has opted is through curbing it’s spread by having a nation level lockdown. This amped up preventive strategy has at the very least incredulously brought down the number of people getting affected by it as the transmission of the infected has reduced due to the shutdown.

Awareness about the pandemic is the second best thing that is being taken very seriously. The government and other bodies are promoting and spreading the news & information about this pandemic as possible so that the complexity of it is instilled amongst the people and the preventive measures are abided thoroughly.

Hence here we bring you a compiled version of the measures from the experts of Teerthanker Mahaveer University’s medical hospital team to easily & safely get us through these hard times.

  1. Isolation – The most important key to be safe is to avoid social exposure
  2. Sanitation – Cleanliness of body and surroundings is essential at this hour of need
  3. Personal Hygiene – Clean hands and avoiding constant touch on our facial skin is an effective measure
  4. Maintaining Distance – Avoiding physical contact while maintaining a minimum of 1 metre distance is necessary. Use of masks/ covering mouth while sneezing or coughing is a mandatory requisite to prevent the transmission of this disease.
  5. So by following just these four important steps become corona protected. Because your safety is important for us.
