2 Indian Institute of Technology Madras SWAYAM Online Degree Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) on 20 August 2025. The collaboration provides TMU access to IIT Madras’s SWAYAM Online Degree – Vertical II Learning Platform, enabling the university to offer enhanced educational opportunities to its students. Under the MoU, IIT Madras will provide TMU access to the Learning Platform, including its features and functionalities, and ensure 99.9% platform uptime. The partnership reflects TMU’s commitment to leveraging digital learning platforms and expanding access to quality education. Through this collaboration, students can benefit from structured online learning opportunities supported by IIT Madras, strengthening TMU’s efforts towards technology-enabled, flexible, and accessible higher education.
