College of Agriculture Sciences has its Training & Placement Cell, which is headed by the principal of the college. The college maintains a rigorous intellectual teaching process to mold the students to meet the present competitive level. Our team with the large pool of in-house intellectual and guest faculty, constantly innovates new ways to deliver quality education.

Beside this there are two important field segments of the programme.

  • 20 weeks Rural Agricultural Work Experience and Agro-industrial Attachment (RAWE & AIA) training in VII semester, providing practical exposure to the real world problems.
  • Experience Learning Programme (ELP), courses are designed in such a manner to provide value-based and/or skill-based knowledge.

Training & Placement Cell Activities

Placement: The cell contacts industries and invites them for conducting on campus or off campus selection of students. The cell also improves the students after getting the feedback from the company representatives.

Training: To keep pace with the present stiff competition, the placement cell conducts training in following area:

  • Personality Development
  • Resume Making
  • Mock Interviews
  • Group Discussions
  • Mock Tests
  • Leadership Skills etc.

Carrier Guidance: The cell operates with the mandate to train students in such a manner that they are employable and also able to qualify competitive examinations for seeking admission in different post graduate programs. Classes for various subjects are conducted with support from faculty.
