D.El.Ed Admission Process

Application- The D.El.Ed programme is offered by the government as well as private institutes. The D. El. Ed admission is conducted based on the D. El. Ed entrance exams and merit list. Application forms are released on the official websites of the boards or organisations. The application process and entrance exams vary from board to board in each state. Candidates must register themselves by filling out the application form. When candidates clear the entrance exam they are called for further rounds and interviews. Eligibility-

1.Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% can apply for admission.
2.Candidates of the reserved and physically handicapped category get a relaxation of 5%.

The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 35. For SC/ST/OBC, it should be between 18 to 40, and for the physically handicapped category, it should be between 18 to 50. Entrance Exam- Entrance exams are scheduled by the respective boards and organisations of each state. The exams are generally objective-type written exams. Government Primary School Teacher- First of all options, candidates can prepare and clear the respective exams to become a government school teacher. The average annual salary of a government school teacher is around INR 4,20,000/-.

Primary School Teacher- Some of the candidates could not prepare or clear the final government exam after the programme they can become primary teachers in private schools where the teacher has to teach the children of primary or upper primary schools.
