About Library

The Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) of Teerthanker Mahaveer University consists of a Central Library with various major branches situated in different Academic Blocks. These are well-established modern libraries catering to the information needs of the academic community. For a closer view of advances in technology, discoveries in the fields of medical, dental, nursing, paramedical sciences, physiotherapy, management, computing sciences, engineering, law, education, physical education, fine arts, and agriculture sciences.

It has a vast and varied collection of books, journals, e-resources, and reference materials. These libraries have more than three lakh books on varied subjects and subscribe to over 200+ national and international journals in print, along with access to a wide range of e-journals.

The KRC is fully automated with modern facilities using KOHA open-source library management software, including OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), e-library access, digital resources, Wi-Fi connectivity, and reading rooms that offer a comfortable and quiet environment for study and research. Dedicated to promoting lifelong learning and academic excellence, the library also offers specialized services such as Current Awareness Service (CAS), Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI), Inter-Library Loan (ILL), reprographic services, and user orientation programs.
