5th CONVOCATION 2021 | Teerthanker Mahaveer University

Congratulations…
For the efforts, you have given,
For the lessons, you have taken,
For the nights you have spent studying,
For the heated afternoons, you have spent on the college field,
For the results, you have yielded,
Congratulations for reaching a step closer to your aim,
And now comes the time when the world will know your name.

College is one of the essential phases of a student and a person’s life. This period also marks the metamorphosis of a person from adolescence to adulthood, where they get knowledge and learn a lot about life and its aspects. And to make this very part of students’ special and memorable, Teerthanker Mahaveer University organized its 5th Convocation ceremony in the virtuous presence of respected figures, including Deputy CM of U.P Dr. Dinesh Sharma as the Chief Guest, along with Cabinet Minister Panchayat Raj, Shri Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary as the Guest of Honor. The convocation ceremony saw participation from students in huge numbers.


A total of 7927 degrees were awarded to students from different disciplines of the batch 2018-2021, and 525 of them were commissioned for their meritorious efforts, in which 153 received Gold Medals, 179 received Silver Medals, and 140 bagged Bronze, while 53 Ph.D. students of the batch 2019-2021 were also awarded their degrees. The guests presented the meritorious students with medals and degrees.


For the first time in 5 years, the convocation was hosted through two modes simultaneously, online & offline mode. The online mode was live-streamed via YouTube and Zoom. The enthusiasm level of students could be measured by looking at the YouTube views of the video, totaling more than 7500 and counting. Only the medal holders were invited on campus to attend the ceremony in person, considering the covid norms.


Chief Guest Dr. Dinesh Sharma motivated the students in his 45 minutes speech and shared the words of wisdom, stating a valuable lesson that learning is a lifelong process and the student life never ends. Even professionals also learn something new every day. During the speech, he also emphasized that students should not go to foreign countries after completing their studies and instead work for their own country and contribute to its growth. Our education system is continuously evolving, and now with the , we are expected to see some great developments. PM Modi has strengthened this move by launching Digital India, Startup India, and Skill India initiatives.


The Guest of Honour, Shri Bhupendra Chaudhary, added that education being the focal point of this entire ceremony, urged the teachers that academic knowledge should not be the only priority; instead, human qualitative aspects should also be ingrained to become a better society. Education is fundamental to development and growth.


University Chancellor Shri Suresh Jain & Group Vice Chairman Shri Manish Jain also congratulated the students for their hard work as they conferred the students with the degrees and wished them luck.


Chancellor Shri Suresh Jain, voiced, “It is indeed my privilege to witness the Convocation Ceremony of TMU. The pandemic brought various challenges with it, but with the support of our talented and committed faculty members, technology and parents, our students have given exceptional performance.” He also added how the convocation date shifted and got postponed due to the pandemic and lockdown.


Various eminent personalities also graced the ceremony, including DM Shailendra Kumar Singh, Mayor Vinod Agarwal, Zila Panchayat President Dr. Shifali Chauhan, and MLA Ritesh Gupta.


The university feels great, completing yet another cycle of preparing skilled youth for the betterment of our country and leading it in front of this fast-paced world.


Our graduates are ready to take the world with a go-getter attitude, and we wish them all the success they deserve. Now they will face their most significant practical examinations of life, the world being their External Examiner.


Our maximum students are placed at top organizations including TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Capgemini, Zee TV, CNN, etc. We wish for all our students to achieve success in life.


TMU is a wholesome environment for the students to grow in every aspect of their lives. With more than 2 decades of excellence in the teaching industry, the university offers more than 150 courses in 14 on Campus colleges and two independent teaching departments. Every year numerous trending and demanding courses of various sectors are introduced in the university curriculum.


Looking at the exponential changes in technology, and an inevitable need for development, we have recently partnered with TCS iON Industry Honour Program, in which we started three special technical courses: B.Tech (Data Science), B.Tech(IoT), B.Tech(Mechatronics).
