About College

The college is well equipped with state-of-the-art dental clinical setup and a modern & majestic infrastructure. The college has a well established simulated pre-clinical and research labs. The air-conditioned central library opens for 12 hours a day. A separate hostel for girls and boys situated in the serene environment with round the clock Wi-Fi connectivity and uninterrupted power supply makes it conducive for concentrated studies. The indoor and the outdoor stadium gives a boost for athletic development. The BDS course has an intake of 100 whereas; the MDS course has an intake of 45 seats. The programmes are at par with the International standards and fulfill all the regulations laid down by Dental Council of India.

A large number of patients visiting OPD of the dental college is its major strength. The college has super-specialty clinical setting which attracts both rural as well as the urban population. The satellite centres located in various other areas of the district and two well equipped mobile dental vans caters to the needs of the underprivileged. Along with its well furnished labs with modern equipments and facilities, the college is well complimented by renowned intellectual faculty members. Special emphasis is laid on the training of the students to make them technically sound dentists having good communicative skills and professional understanding in order to treat various oro-dental diseases. The auditorium of the college with a seating capacity of 550 individuals serves to conduct various scientific programmes in which distinguished personalities from the dental fraternity are invited to share their positive life experiences with the students and the faculty.

The college encourages all its young researchers for publication of their papers, participation in national as well as international seminars, symposiums, conferences and workshops, which enriches them with latest knowledge and techniques in the field of Dental science. Moreover, extracurricular activities, sports and cultural festivals for students are conducted throughout the year, which, in turn, help to nourish their talent and personality.
