  • Don’t Underestimate The Syllabus. Read It Thoroughly.
  • The first and foremost important thing, that students often don’t pay much attention, is the syllabus for the exam. Honestly, it’s your Gita. You need to be one with it and make sure all topics are covered. The syllabus can be found on the official site of Ministry of Education. In a nutshell, the syllabus mostly covers physics, chemistry and biology from 11th and 12th standard.

  • Follow NCERT Books To Begin With
  • As per the guidelines mentioned in the official site of NEET UG, the exam cover topics mostly adhering to the CBSE guidelines. And according to CBSE guidelines, only NCERT books are to be followed. Hence, it is highly recommended that when preparing for the paper, do make sure that you are thoroughly reviewing from the latest editions of the 11th & 12th NCERT books, which are easily available in most bookstores.

  • Check Out Some Crash Courses For Advanced Learning
  • Truth be told, every student is aware of their own potential. And as time approaches for the exam, students often think of opting for any possible crash courses, something that can help refine what they’ve learnt so far.

Crash courses mostly last for three months duration, however can be even shorter. Such programmes help leverage the best out of the study material and books you have chosen to prepare from. Students get time to clear doubts with their mentors which often helps clear fundamentals and adds on to their confidence. There are various institutes that offer such short termed courses and charge a fee for the same. You may do some research and figure out what suits you the best. All in all, it's a good decision to enroll in a crash course before you finally seal the deal.

  • Self-Evaluation Is A Must
  • Last point, is ofcourse self explanatory, however, the most vital of them all. The key to success often lies in self-evaluation. Be true to yourself. At the end of the day, you need to push yourself in the direction that leads you to a brighter future. So evaluate what you’ve learnt. Revise often, and if you get stuck at some point, don’t hesitate to take it to a mentor. Clear your doubts, make sure the syllabus is covered thoroughly as per NCERT books, solve all problems mentioned in the books and do sample papers.
