To reduce its environmental footprint, the university has implemented multiple eco-friendly initiatives across campus. These include the use of renewable energy infrastructure, energy- efficient lighting systems, sustainable transportation initiatives such as e-vehicles and e-carts, water conservation mechanisms, and advanced waste management systems, including sewage treatment plants (STP) and effluent treatment plants (ETP). Green landscaping, biodiversity conservation, and large-scale plantation drives further strengthen the university’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

Through joint initiatives such as community awareness programs, plantation drives, water conservation drives, waste segregation awareness, and environmental cleanliness campaigns, the University contributes towards building a more sustainable local ecosystem in and around Moradabad.

Beyond academic learning, students and staff are strongly encouraged to participate in real- world sustainability actions. Various outreach activities, environmental monitoring projects, sustainability awareness campaigns, waste reduction initiatives, and community development programs provide practical opportunities for students to apply sustainability concepts in real-life contexts. These experiential engagements help develop responsible citizens and future sustainability leaders.

The University also promotes knowledge sharing and institutional learning by openly showcasing its sustainability initiatives to visiting academic institutions, policymakers, and community groups. Campus visits, workshops, seminars, and sustainability awareness programs allow external stakeholders to learn from the university’s best practices in green campus management and environmental responsibility.
