About MSc Animation

MSc Animation (Master of Science in Animation) is a 2-year postgraduate degree that focuses on advanced animation techniques, visual effects (VFX), 3D modelling, game design, AI-assisted design, and digital filmmaking. The programme combines creativity with technology to prepare students for careers in the animation, gaming, film, television, advertising, and multimedia industries. Through hands-on training with industry-standard software and practical projects, graduates develop the technical expertise and artistic skills needed for careers as animators, VFX artists, motion graphics designers, game artists, and multimedia professionals. Graduates can work as 3D Animators, VFX Artists, Motion Graphics Designers, Character Animators, Game Designers, Multimedia Artists, Storyboard Artists, Compositors, UI/UX Designers, and Creative Directors.

Pursuing an MSc Animation at TMU provides students with a blend of creative learning and industry-oriented training. The programme focuses on advanced animation techniques, VFX, 3D modelling, motion graphics, and digital content creation through hands-on projects and practical sessions. Students learn using modern animation tools, work on real-world assignments, and receive guidance from experienced faculty.

MSc Animation Scholarships 2026

Scholarship for Jain Students:

  • All Jain students will be given upto 50% exemption in tuition fees and upto 30% in hostel fees for the entire duration of the programme.

Scholarship for Non Jain Students:

  • Special Scholarship Scheme for Wards of Visually Impaired Employees of Teerthanker Mahaveer University – 50% per year for the entire duration of the programme.

Remarks: Scholarships are available in the admission Year only. These rules are not applicable on programmes of one year or less than one year duration & Multiple scholarships will not be available.
