The Paediatric Nursing Department of Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Nursing successfully organised an online guest lecture on Generative AI in Healthcare Diagnostics: Help in Early Diagnosis on 12th March 2026. The session aimed to spread awareness among nursing students and faculty about how artificial intelligence is improving diagnostic accuracy and helping in early disease detection.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of senior academic leaders, including the Dean, Principal, and Vice-Principal of the college. The event was smoothly hosted by Riya Bharti, PG Tutor from the Department of Paediatric Nursing.

The session began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, marking a positive and respectful start to the academic event. The Dean addressed the participants and spoke about the growing importance of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector. She encouraged students to stay updated with modern technologies like Generative AI in Healthcare Diagnostics, as it is becoming an essential part of medical practice.

The Principal appreciated the department’s effort in organising such an informative session. She highlighted that programmes like these play a key role in preparing students for future challenges in healthcare. Role of Generative AI in Modern Healthcare

The Head of the Paediatric Nursing Department formally welcomed the guest speaker, Dr Rupinder Deol, who delivered the expert lecture. During the session, Dr Deol explained in a very simple and clear manner how Generative AI in Healthcare Diagnostics is transforming the medical field.

She discussed how AI tools can analyse large amounts of medical data quickly and accurately. These tools can help doctors detect diseases at an early stage, which improves patient outcomes.
