TMU Physiotherapy Department Hosts “Symphora 2025” Fresher’s Party
The Department of Physiotherapy at Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) organised its annual fresher’s celebration, Symphora 2025, on 25th November 2025. The vibrant event, scheduled from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, welcomed the new batch of BPT First Year students with enthusiasm, creativity, and cultural brilliance. With energetic performances, enthusiastic participation, and multiple award titles, Symphora 2025 turned into an unforgettable day for everyone.
Guests and Opening Ceremony
The event saw the gracious presence of notable dignitaries, including Prof. Dr Manjula Jain (Dean of Academics), Prof. Amit Kansal, Dr Jyoti Puri (Associate Dean, PhD Cell), Prof. (Dr) Shivanee M. Kaul (HOD, Physiotherapy Department), Prof. Dr Anurag Verma (Associate Dean R&D), and Mr Ravindra Dev (HOD, College of Fine Arts). Faculty members from the Physiotherapy Department, external faculty from the Medical College, and students from various Physiotherapy batches attended the celebration.
The programme started with a formal welcome address by the Dean of Academics and the Associate Dean, followed by a heartfelt speech from the Head of the Department. A traditional lamp-lighting ceremony officially inaugurated Symphora 2025, setting a graceful and auspicious tone for the day’s festivities.
Cultural Excellence Shines at Symphora 2025
The cultural segment of Symphora 2025 began with a devotional performance that created an uplifting atmosphere for the audience. The students presented various dance acts, musical performances, stage activities, and a special Hollywood-themed ramp walk, which became one of the major highlights.
There were a total of 24 cultural and stage performances, and each one added energy and excitement to the event. The audience enjoyed every moment and appreciated the hard work of the performers. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the students reflected the spirit of leadership, teamwork, and artistic excellence.
