Celebrating New Beginning: Freshers Party at TMU’s College of Agriculture Sciences

In anticipation of a new academic year, TMU’s College of Agriculture Sciences hosted an unforgettable Freshers Party to provide a comprehensive overview of facilities and opportunities to newcomers. The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including Dr Parveen Kumar Jain, the Dean of the College of Agriculture Sciences, and Dr MP Singh, the Dean of Student Welfare. 

 

Dr. Parveen, the distinguished Dean of the College of Agriculture Sciences, addressed the gathering with his words of encouragement and wisdom. He highlighted the vital role that agricultural studies play in addressing the critical challenges of today's world, including food security, environmental sustainability, and the need for innovative agricultural practises. His inspiring speech motivated the fresh faces in the audience, instilling a sense of purpose and responsibility as they ventured on their academic journey.

 

Dr. MP Singh, the Dean of Student Welfare, also graced the occasion and shared valuable insights on the university's support system for students. He emphasised the importance of holistic development, and motivated students to engage in extracurricular activities, take advantage of mentorship programmes, and make the most of the university's resources.

 

The event included informative sessions where students were introduced to various academic programmes, research opportunities, and hands-on experiences available within the College of Agriculture Sciences. Faculty members and senior students enthusiastically welcomed the newcomers, extending a friendly hand to help them navigate their educational voyage.
