Women Empowerment, Awareness and Leadership Campaign Held at TMU Under Mission Shakti 5.0
Moradabad, 1 December 2025:
TMIMT–College of Management, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, organised a Women Empowerment – Awareness and Leadership Campaign under the state initiative Mission Shakti 5.0, aiming to promote women’s safety, dignity, and informed decision-making. A total of 100 students participated in the programme.
In support of the state-led initiative for enhancing women’s safety and empowerment, TMIMT conducted this awareness campaign to educate students about their legal rights, emergency helpline services, and self-protection mechanisms. The programme emphasised creating an environment that upholds dignity, equality, and informed action for young women in academic and professional settings.
Objectives of the Programme
- To create awareness about women’s safety measures and emergency helpline services.
- To promote gender equality and enhance dignity for women across academic and professional spaces.
- To sensitise students towards women-related issues and empower them with actionable knowledge.
- To support the objectives of Mission Shakti and state-level empowerment initiatives.
Programme Activities
Keynote Lecture
The keynote session provided insights into:
- Women’s rights, safety protocols, and emergency support systems
- Leadership development and confidence-building
- Opportunities and challenges for women in business and entrepreneurship
- Real-life success stories motivating students to build resilience
The expert speaker highlighted practical steps that young women can adopt to strengthen their personal safety, awareness, and leadership aspirations.
