Vote for Nation

The Vote for Nation program was organised by NSS team of CCSIT, TMU, Moradabad on 18th April, 2019. The aim of the program was to create awareness about the right to vote among the youngsters and increase public participation in elections. The program was started with a pledge session for first time voters.

On this occasion, Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi said that it is an important step to organise such a programme for the students. He motivated students and said that if you are a citizen of India and above 18 years of age, you are eligible to cast your vote in the elections. In the same vein, he informed young students that as per the Constitution of India, every Indian citizen who is of sound mind is given a universal voting right. He expressed his views and said that the voter is not discriminated on the basis of factors like religion, caste, creed, economic status, etc. He advised to use this to strengthen the democracy and democratic processes. Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi appreciated the efforts of the NSS team of CCSIT for organising this program.

On this occasion, Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi (Principal, CCSIT), Dr. Ashendra Kumar Saxena (HOD, CCSIT), Mr. Shambhu Bhardwaj (Procter, CCSIT), Mr. Navneet Vishnoi (NSS coordinator, CCSIT), Mr. Manoj Gupta, all NSS team members of CCSIT and the staff were present.
