TMU's Faculty of Education Marks 24th Vijay Diwas.
July 23, 2023. TMU’s Faculty of Education marked a poignant tribute to the valour and sacrifice of our armed forces on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The event demonstrated the university’s abiding respect for the heroic efforts of our soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999. Candles were lit, and a two-minute silence was observed on this occasion.
Insightful Address
The esteemed presence of Dr M. P. Singh, Director of Students’ Welfare, who attended as the chief guest graced the event. Dr Singh’s insightful address resonated with the students. It underscores the importance of honouring the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers. He also stated, “On this victory day, let’s focus on entrusting our nation. Universities should nurture skilled scientists, patriots, scholars, and disciplined youth for our country’s future.” Later, the students were encouraged to contribute their best to our nation’s development.
