The Teerthanker Mahaveer University has once again proven to be the preferred destination for higher education due to the major interest of the students in the second biggest entrance exam in India, CUET 2022, organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
As per the reports, 9.51 lakh students have applied for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) this year, out of which 1.65 lakh students have applied for over 33 courses at TMU. It was interesting to note that 12 colleges have received over 1000 applications. B.Tech (CS), B.Tech (EC), and pharmacy courses have topped the applicant's list.
While speaking on this achievement, Chancellor Shri Suresh Jain expressed that the belief of the students towards TMU demonstrates their trust in the quality of education that we impart. He also added, "The university has 800 permanent and 200 part-time competent and highly qualified faculty members. It is pertinent to note that the university offers quality placement."
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), earlier known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test, is an all-India test being organised by the NTA for admission to various undergraduate, integrated, postgraduate, diploma, certification courses and research programmes. The CUET application process began on April 2 and ended on May 31, 2022. We expect the CUET to be held in July 2022. A total of 87 universities and their affiliated colleges have taken part.
TMU aims to be one of the top private global universities, and 12B status is the achievement in this pursuit of being a world-class educational institution. Being a multidisciplinary educational institution, we offer 120+ UGC and other statutory regulatory authorities approved programmes at UG, PG, and doctoral levels in fields like Medical, Dental, Nursing, Paramedical, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Agriculture, Fine Arts, Management, Engineering, Education, Jain Studies, Hospital Management, etc. The University will soar to new heights in terms of educational boundaries. The CUET 2022 entrance exam applicant data is proof that the institution will bag many other such milestones.
