TMU Organises Speech Competition: “Achievements of Women Achievers”
Under the Mission Shakti 5.0 initiative of the Government of India, the Women Empowerment Cell at TMU College of Engineering organised a Speech Competition on “Achievements of Women Achievers”. The event aimed to highlight the contributions of women across various fields, inspire gender sensitisation among students, and promote awareness about women’s empowerment on campus.
The competition fostered an environment where young voices could articulate their thoughts on women’s leadership, equality, and societal transformation.
Objectives of the Program
The speech competition was organised with the following objectives:
- Celebrate Women Achievers: Highlighting the remarkable contributions of women across diverse sectors in alignment with Mission Shakti 5.0.
- Promote Awareness: Encouraging students to recognise women’s empowerment, accomplishments, and leadership roles.

Event Highlights
The competition featured impactful speeches that impressed both the audience and jury, making the selection of winners a challenging task. The event was judged by Dr Sandeep Verma, Head of the Department of Humanities, FOE, and Dr Alka Verma, who commended the quality and depth of the presentations.
Notable speeches by Anushka Mohan, Anshika Kakkar, Ragini Daksh, Isha Rajput, Abhivansh Jain, and Kriti Kumari were highly appreciated for their clarity, insight, and inspiring messages.

- First Position: Anshika Kakkar – B.Tech. CSE, I Year
- Second Position: Ragini Daksh – B.Sc. CS, III Semester
- Third Position: Isha Rajput – B.Tech. CSE (AI), V Semester
Trophies were awarded by the jury in recognition of the outstanding performances.
Event Coordination
The competition was efficiently anchored by Kumari Priyanshi and Tannu Priya from B.Tech. CSE I Year. The event was coordinated by Dr Indu Tripathi, with active participation from all Heads of Departments, faculty members, and coordinators.
