TMU Organises Mission Shakti 5.0 Programme on Career Success & Women’s Safety Awareness
Moradabad: The College of Computing Sciences & Information Technology (CCSIT) at Teerthanker Mahaveer University successfully organised a one-day awareness programme under Mission Shakti 5.0 on 18th April 2026.
Titled “Guiding Women towards Career Success & Safety Awareness,” the event was conducted at CCSIT Labs 3234 and 3202, bringing together 97 students, including 77 female participants. The programme aimed to promote women’s safety, career awareness, and self-expression through a series of interactive and creative activities.
Promoting Awareness, Confidence, and Empowerment
Aligned with the objectives of Mission Shakti 5.0, the programme focused on empowering female students by enhancing their awareness of safety measures, helpline services, and career opportunities. The initiative also encouraged creativity, confidence-building, and active student participation.
Key Objectives of the Programme
The event was organised with a clear set of objectives:
- To promote awareness about women’s safety and empowerment
- To enhance knowledge of important helpline numbers and safety measures
- To encourage self-expression and confidence among female students
- To provide a platform for students to share career aspirations and challenges
- To promote creativity through digital poster design
Engaging Activities Encouraging Learning and Expression
The programme featured a range of thoughtfully designed activities that combined awareness with participation:
1. My Dream, My Journey – Voices of Future Women Leaders
Students recorded short video messages sharing their career aspirations, motivations, challenges, and personal journeys. This activity fostered self-reflection, confidence, and peer inspiration.
2. Quiz on Helpline Numbers & Safety Awareness
An interactive quiz session was conducted to assess and enhance students’ awareness of essential helpline numbers and safety practices. The activity reinforced critical knowledge in an engaging format.
3. Digital Poster Competition
Participants showcased their creativity by designing digital posters on women’s safety and empowerment. The posters effectively incorporated helpline numbers and motivational messages, promoting awareness through visual communication.
Leadership, Coordination, and Acknowledgement
The programme was successfully organised under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Dwivedi, Dean (FoE & CCSIT), coordinated by Dr Preeti Rani, Women Empowerment Cell Coordinator, CCSIT.
Special appreciation was extended to faculty members, staff, and student volunteers for their dedicated efforts. Student volunteers Nikhil Giri and Riddhi Kaushik were acknowledged for their active contribution to the smooth execution of the event.
Conclusion
The Mission Shakti 5.0 programme at CCSIT proved to be a meaningful and impactful initiative. It successfully enhanced awareness, confidence, and empowerment among female students while providing a platform for creative expression and career-oriented thinking.
Through interactive activities and active participation, the event reinforced the importance of safety awareness, self-reliance, and personal growth, reflecting TMU’s continued commitment to empowering women through education and engagement.
