TMU Organises Slogan Writing & Health Helplines Awareness Programme under Mission Shakti 5.0

The College of Paramedical Sciences, Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), Moradabad, successfully organised a Slogan Writing Competition & Health Helplines Awareness Programme under the Mission Shakti 5.0 campaign. The event was conducted in collaboration with U.P. Start INUP (Government of Uttar Pradesh Initiative), TMIF, Ministry of MSME (Government of India), MeitY Startup Hub, and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).
This initiative aimed to raise awareness about women’s safety, empowerment, and access to vital helplines while encouraging students to creatively express their thoughts on social responsibility and gender equality.
Objective of the Programme
The Slogan Writing & Health Helplines Awareness Programme was organised with the following key objectives:
- To promote awareness about women’s safety measures and health helplines like 181 and 112.
- To encourage creative expression among students through thought-provoking slogans.
- To spread the message of empowerment and the collective role of society in ensuring women’s safety.
- To strengthen public understanding of Mission Shakti’s vision and its welfare services.
Programme Activities
The event witnessed active participation from 28 female students and 5 faculty members representing various courses such as B.Sc. MLT, B.Sc. RIT, B.Optometry, B.Sc. Forensic Science and Diploma programmes.
The Slogan Writing Competition encouraged students to channel their creativity and awareness into impactful messages promoting women’s safety and empowerment. Participants created slogans in both English and Hindi, reflecting their social consciousness and artistic flair.
Notable student participants included Neha (Operation Theatre Technician), Shikeb Bano, Aleefa Sameer, Mani Pal, Damini Kirti, and Ayushi Singh (MLT).
Some of the standout slogans were:
- “1098 – Because Every Child’s Smile Matters”
- “For Safe Motherhood and Quick Aid — Call 102 or 108”
- “संकोच नहीं, साहस दिखाओ — हेल्पलाइन नंबर अपनाओ।”
Judgment and Evaluation
The entries were evaluated by Ms Prachi Singh and Ms Sakshi Bisht, who assessed the participants based on originality, creativity, content relevance, and presentation.
Acknowledgement of Guidance and Support
The event was organised under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Navneet Kumar, Chairperson & Principal, and Prof. (Dr.) Ruchi Kant, Convener & HOD, Medical Laboratory Techniques.
The organising team comprised Ms Vivechana (Coordinator), Ms Rashmi Pandey, Dr Varsha Rajput, Ms Anshika Srivastava, Mr Deepak Katiyar, Mr Saurabh Singh Bisht, and Ms. Shreya Thakral, who ensured flawless execution of the programme.

Winners of the Slogan Writing Competition were honoured with certificates and trophies for their commendable contributions:
- 1st Prize: Umaima Khan (Anaesthesia & Critical Care Technician, 2nd Year)
- 2nd Prize: Iffat Choudhary (B.Sc. MLT, 1st Semester)
- 3rd Prize: Tanya Chaudhary (B.Sc. RIT, 1st Semester)
Conclusion
The Slogan Writing & Health Helplines Awareness Programme under Mission Shakti 5.0 proved to be a powerful and creative platform for youth engagement. It encouraged students to express their views on women’s safety, courage, and empowerment through art and language.
The event reinforced the Mission Shakti vision that empowerment begins with awareness and unity, reminding participants of the importance of standing together for a safer and more inclusive society.
Under the able leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Navneet Kumar, Principal, and Prof. (Dr.) Shivanee M. Kaul, Head of Department & Nodal Officer, Mission Shakti 5.0 (Department of Physiotherapy, TMU), the programme highlighted TMU’s continued dedication to women’s empowerment and holistic education.
