TMU Organises Educational Visit to PNB under Mission Shakti 5.0 to Promote Financial Literacy Among Female Students
Moradabad, 02 December 2025:
The TMIMT College of Management, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, organised the Student Startup Development Program under the flagship Mission Shakti 5.0 initiative, bringing together 100 students for an insightful and motivating capacity-building event. The programme aimed to strengthen entrepreneurial thinking, nurture innovative ideas, and empower female students to consider entrepreneurship as a viable and rewarding career pathway.
Introduction
Aligned with the national “Udyamita” (Entrepreneurship) initiative, the Student Startup Development Program introduced participants to the fundamentals of starting a business, including planning, funding, ideation, and market research.
Held on 2nd December 2025 at TMIMT, the programme encouraged students to think creatively, identify real-world challenges, and propose business solutions with practical applicability. Additionally, it provided a platform for aspiring student entrepreneurs to present and refine their startup concepts, enhancing their confidence and leadership skills.
Objectives of the Programme
The primary objectives included:
- To support the national “Udyamita” initiative by inspiring students to develop innovative and practical ideas
- To introduce students to fundamental entrepreneurial concepts such as planning, funding, and market analysis
- To provide a platform for students to share, present, and polish their entrepreneurial ideas
Programme Activities
Keynote Lecture & Motivational Session
The programme featured an inspiring keynote session centred on encouraging female students to explore entrepreneurship as a promising career choice.
The speaker highlighted:
- Challenges and opportunities for women in the startup ecosystem
- Real-life entrepreneurial success stories
- Practical strategies for starting and sustaining a business
- Importance of creativity, risk-taking, and problem-solving in entrepreneurship
The session successfully broadened students’ understanding of entrepreneurship while motivating them to pursue their ideas with confidence.
Acknowledgements
The event was organised under the guidance and supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Vipin Jain, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, TMIMT, with Ms Anshu Chauhan serving as the Event Organiser.
