TMU Organises Awareness Rally on Women’s Safety and Health Helplines under Mission Shakti 5.0
Moradabad, October 30, 2025:
The College of Paramedical Sciences, Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), organised a Slogan Writing Competition & Health Helplines Awareness Rally under the Mission Shakti 5.0 initiative. The event, held in collaboration with U.P. Start INUP, TMIF, the Ministry of MSME (Government of India), the MeitY Startup Hub, and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), aimed to promote women’s safety, empowerment, and health awareness through student participation and public outreach.
A total of 51 female students and 3 faculty members from the College of Paramedical Sciences actively participated in the event, marching across the TMU campus with banners and placards bearing motivational and awareness slogans.
Objectives of the Awareness Rally
The primary goals of the programme were to:
- Promote awareness of vital health helpline numbers (102, 108, and 1098) for emergency, maternal, and child healthcare services.
- Encourage public participation in initiatives supporting women’s empowerment and safety.
- Educate the community on preventive healthcare and wellness, especially concerning women and children.
- Foster social responsibility, leadership, and active citizenship among students.
Programme Highlights
The awareness rally began with enthusiasm and energy as participants chanted impactful slogans advocating for women’s safety and health awareness. Students showcased slogans they had previously created, focusing on key messages like maternal health, emergency response, and child welfare.
The event successfully combined education with activism, serving as a platform for students to express their creativity and civic sense while spreading awareness to the public. The rally reflected the spirit of Mission Shakti 5.0, inspiring unity and a sense of shared responsibility for a safer and healthier society.

The organising team included Ms Vivechana (Coordinator), Mr Deepak Katiyar, Mr Saurabh Singh Bisht, and Mr Siddhant Shukla, who ensured the smooth execution of the rally.
The Social Media Team — Ms Shweta Upadhyay and Mr Chittransh Pratap Singh (B.Sc. Forensic Science, 1st Semester) — played a key role in capturing and promoting event highlights across digital platforms.
