TMU NCC Screening Process Completed for New Batch 2026-27
Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) completed the screening process for the new NCC batch for the academic session 2026-27. A total of 46 students took part in the process and showed their interest in discipline, leadership and national service. The activity was organised for newly admitted first-year students.
The screening process was conducted during the university’s four-day ‘Deeksharambh-2026’ Student Induction Programme. The programme was organised to help new students understand the academic system, student services, discipline, campus facilities and university culture.
Deeksharambh-2026 Introduced Students to University Life
The induction programme brought together newly admitted students from different colleges and faculties of TMU. Students from Nursing, Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, CCSIT, TMIMT, Pharmacy, Physical Education, Education, Fine Arts, Law and Legal Studies, Agriculture and Engineering participated in the programme.
During the programme, students received information about the university, academic structure, college-level activities, student welfare services, digital facilities, examination system, discipline, hostel rules and regulations, and other important areas of university life.
Students were also introduced to the Teaching Learning and Development Centre (CTLD), Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), sports facilities and library resources. The sessions helped students understand the academic and support facilities available to them on campus.
University Officials Guided New Students
Joint reguster dr vaibhav rasfth edit the NCC Joint Registrar Dr Vaibhav Rastogi introduced students to the university. Vice Chancellor Dr. (Prof.) V. K. Jain addressed the students and encouraged them to maintain discipline, continue learning and develop a positive approach towards their studies.
Dean Academics Dr Manjula Jain explained the academic structure, while Dean Students Welfare Prof. M. P. Singh discussed student welfare initiatives. Chief Proctor Prof. Sushil Singh, Controller of Examinations Dr Ashindra Saxena and Deputy Chief Warden Dr Ratnesh Jain explained discipline, examination procedures and hostel-related rules.
Representatives from CTLD, CRC, Physical Education College and the library also explained the resources and opportunities available to students. Deans and principals conducted college-level orientation sessions for their respective students.
Conclusion
The TMU NCC screening and Deeksharambh-2026 activities provided new students with an introduction to university life, discipline and available academic and co-curricular opportunities. The induction programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem. The programme was conducted by Dr Madhav Sharma.
