TMU Leadership Talk Series Featured Ruby Bhatia on Self-Discovery and Purpose
Teerthanker Mahaveer University hosted the 22nd session of its Leadership Talk Series, featuring Canadian actress, Miss India Canada 1999, television personality, video jockey (VJ), and motivational speaker Ruby Bhatia. The session focused on the theme “From Spotlight to Self-Discovery: A Journey of Transformation and Purpose.”
The session gave students an opportunity to learn from Ruby Bhatia’s professional journey and understand the importance of self-discovery, personal growth, and finding purpose in life.
Ruby Bhatia Shared Her Journey from Spotlight to Self-Discovery
Ruby Bhatia spoke about her experiences in the entertainment and media industry and shared important lessons from her personal and professional journey. She explained how success and public recognition were only one part of a person’s journey.
Her talk focused on the idea of moving beyond the “spotlight” and understanding one’s own identity, goals, and purpose. She encouraged students to look at transformation as a continuous process that included both professional achievements and personal understanding.
The session helped students connect the idea of leadership with self-confidence, personal development, and purposeful living.
Interactive Session Engaged Students
The main address was followed by an interactive session with students. The discussion allowed students to directly engage with Ruby Bhatia and learn from her experiences.
The interaction covered themes such as leadership, confidence, change, career growth, and purpose. Instead of being limited to a formal speech, the session created an open environment where students could connect with the speaker’s ideas and experiences.
The programme began with the inauguration of the 22nd Leadership Talk session by Assistant Director–Academics, Dr Neha Anand. Ruby Bhatia was welcomed by the university with a floral bouquet.
After the session, she was presented with a memento as a mark of respect and appreciation.
Ruby Bhatia Met TMU Leadership
Following the programme, Ruby Bhatia paid a courtesy visit to Akshat Jain, Executive Director of TMU. She also met Dean Academics Dr Manjula Jain and Vice Chancellor Prof. V. K. Jain.
Her visit added another meaningful chapter to the university’s Leadership Talk Series, which had provided students with opportunities to interact with personalities from different professional fields.
