TMU Intercollegiate Championship Concluded with Grandeur
The TMU Intercollegiate Championship was organised with great enthusiasm and concluded in a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere at Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad. The championship was held throughout the month of February and included students from different colleges of the university. A total of 16 sports were played during the TMU Intercollegiate Championship.
These included cricket, football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, and tug of war. Every day, exciting matches were played, and students participated with full energy and discipline. The championship created a lively and positive environment on campus.

In badminton, teams from Medical, Dental, CCSIT, and Physical Education colleges demonstrated remarkable coordination and strategy. Cricket remained a major attraction during the TMU Intercollegiate Championship. Teams from Paramedical, Pharmacy, Education, CCSIT, and Physical Education colleges competed with determination. One of the notable highlights included a commanding victory by the Physical Education team in the men’s category. Women’s cricket also recorded impressive performances, adding to the overall success of the TMU Intercollegiate Championship.

Kabaddi matches kept the audience engaged with swift raids and strong defensive strategies. Nursing, Physical Education, and CCSIT colleges delivered commendable performances. Kho-kho matches showcased agility and sharp reflexes, with Medical and Agriculture colleges advancing to the semifinal stage.
Football matches demonstrated strategic coordination and stamina, especially from the Physiotherapy, Agriculture, and Physical Education colleges. The finals were played with remarkable energy and sportsmanship. Tug of war competitions reflected strength, unity, and teamwork, with Medical and Agriculture colleges delivering impressive performances.
The grand closing ceremony of the TMU Intercollegiate Championship was attended by senior university officials, deans, principals, and faculty members. Winners across various categories were felicitated for their achievements. In the final outcomes, Physical Education College secured titles in men’s cricket, volleyball, basketball, and men’s kabaddi, while Medical College won the women’s cricket and basketball championships. Nursing College claimed the women’s kabaddi title, and Agriculture College emerged victorious in football.
