TMU Induction Programme 2026: Deeksharambh
Teerthanker Mahaveer University successfully concluded its four-day Deeksharambh-2026 (Student Induction Programme) for newly admitted first-year students of the 2026-27 academic session. The programme was organised to help students understand the university’s academic system, student services, discipline, facilities, and campus culture.
Students from different colleges and faculties participated in the programme. The programme helped new students become familiar with the university environment and prepared them for their academic journey.
Students Learned About Academic and Campus Facilities
During Deeksharambh-2026, students received important information about the university and its academic structure. They were introduced to their respective colleges and learned about various academic and student support facilities.

Students from Nursing, Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, CCSIT, TMIMT, Pharmacy, Physical Education, Education, Fine Arts, Law and Legal Studies, Agriculture, and Engineering took part in the programme.
University Officials Guided New Students
Various university officials and experts guided the students during the programme. Joint Registrar Dr. Vaibhav Rastogi introduced the university and its academic environment.
Vice Chancellor Dr. (Prof.) V. K. Jain addressed the students and encouraged them to follow discipline, continue learning, and maintain a positive attitude throughout their university life.
Dean Academics Dr. Manjula Jain explained the academic structure, while Dean Students Welfare Prof. M. P. Singh provided information about student welfare schemes. Chief Proctor Prof. Sushil Singh discussed discipline, and Controller of Examinations Dr. Ashindra Saxena explained the examination system.
Deputy Chief Warden Dr. Ratnesh Jain guided students about hostel rules and facilities. Representatives from CTLD and CRC also explained the learning and career-related support available to students.
Focus on Overall Student Development
The programme focused not only on academics but also on the overall development of students. Students were encouraged to actively use the university’s academic, sports, library, career, and other support facilities.
College deans and principals also conducted college-level orientations to help students understand their respective academic systems and opportunities.

The four-day Induction Programme, Deeksharambh-2026, successfully provided new students with a clear understanding of university life, academic systems, discipline, facilities, and student services. The programme helped students begin their new academic journey with greater confidence and awareness. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
