TMU Hosts Career Counselling and Awareness Program for Female Students Under Mission Shakti 5.0
Moradabad, October 15, 2025: The Teerthanker Mahaveer Institute of Management and Technology (TMIMT), under the banner of Mission Shakti 5.0, organised a Career Counselling and Awareness Program exclusively for female students of BBA, B.Com, and MBA programmes. The event, held in the Seminar Hall of TMIMT, aimed at guiding young women towards diverse career opportunities while fostering confidence, employability, and self-reliance.
The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) and Centre for Teaching, Learning & Development (CTLD), witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 250 female students and 7 faculty members.
Objectives of the Programme
The programme was designed with the following key objectives:
- To create awareness among female students about a wide range of career opportunities across industries.
- To enhance confidence, leadership, and decision-making skills for professional success.
- To offer career planning and goal-setting guidance aligned with industry expectations.
- To integrate wellness, education, and employability as core elements of women’s empowerment.
- To promote Mission Shakti’s vision of enabling women to lead with knowledge, skill, and self-belief.
Program Highlights and Expert Sessions
The session commenced with the felicitation of faculty members and a warm welcome to the participants.
The keynote session was delivered by Mr Akash Bhatnagar, Deputy Director, Corporate Relations, TMU, who shared valuable insights on career planning, professional grooming, and industry readiness. He urged students to identify their unique strengths, enhance communication and interpersonal skills, and stay aligned with technological trends—especially in IT-driven careers.
Mr Bhatnagar emphasised the importance of continuous learning, self-confidence, and adaptability in today’s competitive world. His interactive approach inspired students to think ambitiously and take strategic steps toward achieving their goals.
Following his address, Dr. (Mrs.) Pankhuri Agarwal and Prof. Vipin Jain, Dean, College of Management & Commerce, delivered engaging talks on holistic career development and the importance of informed decision-making. They highlighted the significance of Mission Shakti 5.0 in broadening women’s access to professional education and leadership roles.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students discussed their career aspirations and received personalised guidance from the experts. The dialogue encouraged open discussion about self-awareness, skill development, and confidence-building among female students.
