TMU Hosts Awareness Session: “A New Education Policy, A New Possibility for Women”
As part of the Mission Shakti initiative, TMU’s College of Fine Arts organised an awareness session titled “A New Education Policy, A New Possibility for Women” on 27 November 2025. The session aimed to empower women by providing insights into the New Education Policy (NEP) and its potential to enhance educational and career opportunities for women.
The session offered participants a platform to understand the policy’s provisions and explore how they can leverage it for personal and professional growth, aligning with TMU’s commitment to women’s empowerment and gender equality.
Objectives of the Program
The session was designed with the following objectives:
- Raise Awareness on NEP Provisions for Women: Informing students about the opportunities and benefits offered by the new education policy.
- Empower Women through Education: Encouraging participants to utilise the policy’s provisions to achieve academic and professional success.
- Promote Women’s Development: Highlighting the role of education in advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment.
