On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), Moradabad, organised a special Ni-Kshay Mitra Programme under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) and Poshan Maah 2025.
During the event, 126 TB patients received nutrition kits, marking the university’s commitment to the Prime Minister’s vision of a “TB-Mukt Bharat” (TB-free India). The initiative was led by TMU Chancellor Shri Suresh Jain, Group Vice Chairman Shri Manish Jain, and Executive Director Shri Akshat Jain, along with Director (Administration) Shri Abhishek Kapoor, who personally distributed the nutrition kits.

Speaking on the occasion, Chancellor Shri Suresh Jain expressed TMU’s unwavering dedication to social welfare, stating,
“This campaign is not only about health support but a reflection of TMU’s values of compassion, responsibility, and service toward humanity.”
He also announced that each TB patient will continue receiving monthly nutrition kits until full recovery.
