TMU Convocation 2026 Graced by Chief Guest Jagat Prakash Nadda
TMU Convocation 2026 was held with great enthusiasm and pride on 14 March 2026 at the university campus in Moradabad. The prestigious ceremony celebrated the academic achievements of students from multiple disciplines and marked an important milestone in the university’s academic calendar.
The grand event was graced by Chief Guest Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers, Government of India. The TMU Convocation 2026 also witnessed the presence of prominent dignitaries, including Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh; Suresh Kumar Khanna, Minister of Finance and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Uttar Pradesh; and Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, former BJP State President of Uttar Pradesh
Over 6,000 Degrees Conferred at TMU Convocation 2026
During the TMU Convocation 2026, a total of 6,041 students were conferred degrees across undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and diploma programmes from the university’s 14 constituent colleges. The Convocation 2026 ceremony also recognised academic excellence by awarding Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals to meritorious students for their outstanding performance.
Jagat Prakash Nadda Applauds TMU’s Contribution to Higher Education
Addressing the gathering at the TMU Convocation 2026, Jagat Prakash Nadda praised the consistent academic progress of Teerthanker Mahaveer University and its role in strengthening higher education in the country. He remarked that TMU has emerged as one of the best universities in the country, offering diverse programmes that prepare students for the evolving demands of the modern world.
He also appreciated the university’s scholarship initiatives and student support systems, noting that such efforts reflect the institution’s commitment to making quality education more accessible and empowering young minds.

Encouraging graduates, he emphasised the importance of contributing to nation-building and reminded students that they are part of a generation that will witness India’s journey toward Viksit Bharat 2047. The TMU Convocation 2026 was conducted in the presence of the university leadership, including Suresh Jain, Chancellor; Manish Jain, Group Vice Chairman; and Akshat Jain, Executive Director.
Chancellor Suresh Jain congratulated the graduating students and expressed pride in their accomplishments. He encouraged them to carry forward the values of knowledge, integrity, and social responsibility as they step into their professional journeys.
