TMU Convocation 2023: Time to Celebrate

Teerthanker Mahaveer University proudly announces Convocation - 2023 on Friday, March 17, 2023. The convocation ceremony marks an important transition in the life of a student. The transition from a learner to a practitioner, a follower to a leader and an amateur to an adept. All the graduates of the 2020-21 and 2021-22 batches, will be conferred their credentials, merit certificates and medals by the esteemed chief guest of the ceremony – Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath Ji.


With the aid of technology and the efforts of committed faculty members, all the students have succeeded excellently regardless of the challenges brought by the epidemic. A total of 5988 students (UG-PG and diploma holders) and research scholars will be conferred with their degrees in the upcoming convocation ceremony. Of these 305 students from multiple disciplines, medals will be awarded to 104 gold medalists, 103 silver medalists, 98 bronze medalists and 17 research scholars will be honoured with research degrees. All the students are invited to receive their degrees in person on this prestigious occasion.


At previous convocations , prominent figures such as Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Former President of India; Justice K. G. Balakrishnan, Chairperson of National Human Rights Commission and Former Chief Justice of India; and Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, were invited as chief guests.


The University is also going to celebrate the academic achievements of its young graduates through a mega cultural event and Rock-On. In the past, eminent performers like Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh, Mika Singh, Sonu Nigam, Amaal Malik, Armaan Malik and many others have graced the university with their live performances.


The academic excellence and reputation of an institution depend on the quality of education and training imparted. The much-awaited convocation ceremony is living proof of the quality of education that has been imparted to TMU students. This ceremony will become a key part of a student's life, a symbol of change, progression, and moving on to new adventures. Teerthanker Mahaveer University has officially started the online registration for the convocation for those students who have successfully completed their programmes in the last two academic sessions. Students are requested to look at all the important details regarding the convocation so that they don't miss it to attend.
