TMU Conducts ‘One Day Principal’ Programme Under Mission Shakti 5.0
The Faculty of Education, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, organised a unique and highly impactful event titled “Empowering Leadership: One Day Principal under Mission Shakti 5.0” on 26 November 2025. The initiative aimed to promote student empowerment by providing a real-time leadership and administrative experience, aligning with the core objectives of Mission Shakti 5.0, a government-led movement that champions youth empowerment, especially among young women.
Introduction
As part of Mission Shakti 5.0, which focuses on strengthening confidence, leadership, and decision-making abilities among young individuals, the Faculty of Education introduced a transformative experiential learning activity. The One Day Principal programme offered meritorious students the opportunity to take charge of institutional leadership, bridging academic excellence with administrative responsibility.
The initiative served as a platform to nurture leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, reinforcing the university’s commitment to grooming future educators and leaders.
Objectives of the Programme
The programme was designed with the following aims:

Programme Activities
On 26 November 2025, the Faculty of Education conducted the One Day Principal event under the Mission Shakti framework. Sameeksha Chauhan was selected as the One-Day Principal in recognition of her exceptional academic performance in the previous year. Her appointment reflected her dedication to excellence, commitment to learning, and evident leadership potential.
Throughout the day, Sameeksha confidently undertook the roles and responsibilities of a principal. Her activities included:
