Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College & Research Centre organised a special guest lecture focused on “Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ): Focused upon Facial & Masticatory Muscles.” The event, held under the joint aegis of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and TMU-Business Incubation Centre, attracted over 200 undergraduate and postgraduate students, showcasing their enthusiastic engagement in dental science and innovation.

The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Taseer Basheer, Associate Professor, Division of Preventive Sciences at Batterjee Dental College, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Basheer delivered a comprehensive lecture delving into the diagnosis and management of TMJ disorders, with a special focus on the facial and masticatory muscles involved in temporomandibular function.
