TMU College of Pharmacy Organises Mission Shakti 5.0 Phase II
Moradabad: The Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Pharmacy, a constituent of Teerthanker Mahaveer University, successfully conducted Mission Shakti 5.0 Phase II (Day 1) on 20 April 2026 at its seminar hall. The initiative is part of the government-led Mission Shakti 5.0 campaign aimed at promoting women’s safety, empowerment, and awareness.
The programme witnessed the participation of 50 students and faculty members, focusing on empowering young individuals—especially women—through education, awareness, and skill development.
Focus on Women's Empowerment and Self-Reliance
The event was designed to educate students about key aspects of women’s empowerment, including safety, health, and entrepreneurship. It encouraged participants to become confident, informed, and self-reliant contributors to society.
Objectives of the Programme
The programme was organised with clearly defined goals aligned with the vision of Mission Shakti:

An expert session was delivered by Urvashi Saxena, who shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship and innovation. She encouraged students to adopt creative thinking, explore start-up opportunities, and move towards self-employment and independence.
Women’s Health and Hygiene Awareness
Another important session was conducted by Pooja Jha, who highlighted critical aspects of women’s health, hygiene, and overall well-being. She emphasised the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and raising awareness about preventive healthcare practices.
