TMU College of Engineering Organised Annual Sports Event “KHEL UTSAV-2025”
Teerthanker Mahaveer University's (TMU) College of Engineering successfully organised the annual sports event and trials, titled "KHEL UTSAV-2025," on October 10 and 11, 2025. The two-day event was conducted with great enthusiasm and active participation from students, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere across the campus.
The event was formally inaugurated by the Dean, Faculty of Engineering. While addressing the students, he highlighted the importance of sports in a student’s life. He stated that sports play a crucial role in the physical and mental development of individuals and help build confidence, leadership qualities, and a positive attitude.
Participation and Sports Activities
Students from Engineering and Diploma programmes participated in various Indoor and outdoor Sports events with full zeal, enthusiasm, and true sportsman spirit. KHEL UTSAV-2025 witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 150 students participating from various departments of the College of Engineering and Diploma courses.
The sports conducted this year are Chess, Athletics, Football, Kabaddi, Tug of War, Volleyball, Carrom, Kho-Kho, Cricket and Badminton. The sports event also focused on recognising talent and performance through a well-structured award system.
Teams were awarded for overall performance, and individual sport winners were recognised for their outstanding achievements. Trophies, medals, and certificates were awarded to winners and runner-up teams, appreciating their dedication and sportsmanship.

Successful Conclusion of the Event
The annual sports event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and overall personality development among students. The successful execution of KHEL UTSAV-2025 was made possible due to the dedicated efforts of faculty coordinators and student coordinators, who worked tirelessly to maintain discipline and smooth coordination throughout the event.
Additionally, the Department of Physical Education's faculty members and volunteers provided full support in managing the sports activities. Through initiatives like KHEL UTSAV-2025, Teerthanker Mahaveer University College of Engineering continues to encourage sports culture and holistic development, helping students grow not only academically but also physically and mentally.
