TMIMT Organised Udhyamita: Let’s Rise
On 18th November 2022, Teerthanker Mahaveer Institute of Management and Technology (TMIMT) organised Udhyamita: Let’s Rise. The main purpose of this event was to polish the business skills of the students. The students from different departments participated in the event with their unique ideas and business modules. The chief guests at the event were Dr. Aditya Sharma, Registrar and Dr. Manjula Jain, Associate Dean Academics, TMU.
The event started with the lighting of a lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati by the chief guests and college faculty members. Dr. Aditya Sharma, Registrar of Teerthanker Mahaveer University, said that events like Udhyamita are very important as they enhance the creativity of the students and help them to learn practical skills. Later, students presented their impressive business modules and were cheered up by the authority.
The first prize was won by Chandra Shekhar, a BBA student, whose business idea was E-Table. The second prize was won by Pavitra Kumar, B.Com (Honors), whose business idea was to make Dhoopbatti with the dried flowers collected from religious places. The third prize was won by Aanchal, an MBA student, her business idea was related to middle-class people in view of high-class fashionable bouquets.
In the end, Dr. Vipin Jain, Principal of Teerthanker Mahaveer Institute of Management and Technology (TMIMT), encouraged all the students with his words of wisdom. He said that the business modules presented by the students were amazing. Indeed, these students are successful future entrepreneurs. He ended his speech with a vote of thanks and motivated students with a beautiful quote: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
