TMIMT Conducts Anti-Ragging Week Activities to Promote Awareness and Student Safety

Teerthanker Mahaveer Institute of Management & Technology (TMIMT), Faculty of Commerce & Management, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, observed Anti-Ragging Week on 13th August 2025 by organising a series of creative competitions aimed at promoting a safe and inclusive campus environment. The activities included Slogan Writing, Poster Making, and Face Painting Competitions, all centred around the theme of anti-ragging and student solidarity.

Students Spread Strong Anti-Ragging Messages

The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students presenting impactful slogans, artistic posters, and creative face art conveying strong messages against ragging. Through their artwork, students highlighted themes of respect, safety, empathy, and unity. Many posters and slogans provided thought-provoking insights on the need to maintain a ragging-free academic environment.

Encouraging Expression, Creativity and Awareness

The event was organised in the university’s Seminar Hall, where participants showcased impressive levels of creativity and social awareness. These activities offered students a platform to express their perspectives, enhance their confidence, and engage in meaningful dialogue on student rights and campus safety.

The primary aim of the competitions was to foster a culture of sensitivity, cooperation, and kindness among students. By involving learners in interactive and expressive formats, TMIMT reinforced its zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and created an engaging medium to spread awareness.

Leadership Appreciation and Institutional Commitment

Prof. Vipin Jain, TMIMT Dean, appreciated the efforts of all participants and highlighted the importance of conducting such awareness-driven activities. He emphasised that initiatives like these help cultivate a responsible and supportive academic ecosystem where students feel secure and respected.

He further added that Anti-Ragging Week acts as a reminder of the institution’s commitment to student welfare and ensures that every learner understands the significance of maintaining a harmonious campus environment.
