TMIMT Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Grand Flag Hoisting Ceremony
Teerthanker Mahaveer Institute of Management & Technology (TMIMT), Faculty of Commerce & Management, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and national pride on 17th August 2025. The ceremony was organised in the presence of faculty members, staff, and students, reflecting unity, respect for the nation and collective patriotism.
Flag Hoisting Ceremony and National Anthem
The event commenced at 10:15 AM with the ceremonial flag hoisting by Prof. (Dr.) Vipin Jain, Dean, TMIMT College of Management. The Indian tricolour was unfurled with dignity, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotic fervour.
In his address, Dr Jain reminded students of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and encouraged them to uphold India’s constitutional values. He emphasised that the true meaning of independence lies not only in enjoying freedom but also in understanding one’s responsibilities towards society and the nation.
Inspirational Speeches Highlight National Values
During the celebration, faculty members highlighted the importance of unity, discipline, and contribution to society. Students also delivered insightful speeches on India’s progress, national pride, and the role of youth in shaping the country’s future. Their participation reflected enthusiasm, respect for national heritage, and a strong commitment to civic duties.
The speakers urged students to imbibe values such as honesty, integrity, and compassion, and to remain dedicated to the nation’s development. Messages focusing on “Nation First,” social harmony, and environmental awareness were also shared.
Dean Motivates Students to Follow Ethical Values
Prof. Vipin Jain encouraged the students to adopt moral values, strengthen their character, and embody a spirit of service. He stressed that each individual must strive to contribute positively towards nation-building and maintain unity and peace.
The Independence Day celebration concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the dignity of the nation and continue working towards a stronger and more progressive India.
