‘Tiranga Yatra 4.0’ Showcases Unity, Patriotism and Enthusiasm on Independence Day Eve

On the eve of Independence Day, Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), Moradabad, once again witnessed a vibrant display of unity, patriotism, and enthusiasm with the grand organisation of ‘Tiranga Yatra 4.0’. Continuing its tradition for the fourth consecutive year, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of TMU led the march to honour the spirit of freedom fighters and to instil a stronger sense of nationalism among students.

The Tiranga Yatra commenced from the TMU College of Nursing and concluded at the Clock Tower inside the university campus.

Thousands of Students and Faculty Join the March

The event saw enthusiastic participation from thousands of students and faculty members from TMU College of Fine Arts, Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, and Physiotherapy. With the national flag in hand and voices echoing patriotic slogans, participants transformed the entire atmosphere into a celebration of love for the nation.

The NSS volunteers, teachers, and university officials joined hands to make the event a resounding success, highlighting the essence of discipline, unity, and national responsibility.

Messages from Leadership

On the successful organisation of the Tiranga Yatra, Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Suresh Jain praised the participants, stating that such events not only strengthen the feeling of patriotism but also awaken a sense of unity, discipline, and social responsibility among the youth.

Meanwhile, Vice-Chancellor Prof. V. K. Jain congratulated the NSS unit and all supporting departments for their commendable efforts. He also paid tribute to the immortal heroes of India’s independence movement, reminding students of the true significance of freedom.

A Journey of Unity and National Integration

During the march, the participants spread messages of brotherhood, solidarity, and national integration. Faculty members welcomed the march with great enthusiasm, showering flowers at different points along the route to motivate the participants.

The vibrant atmosphere resonated with patriotic songs, chants, and cultural zeal, turning the entire journey into a festive celebration of India’s independence spirit.
