The Farm Bills-A Double Edged Sword: Debate Competition by NSS, TMU

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Department along with the College of Agriculture Sciences, TMU organised a Debate Competition on Farmers Bill 2020, open for all the University students. Dr. M. P. Singh, Director of Student Welfare and Dr D.S. Pandey, Principal of College of Agriculture Sciences, judged the competition with utmost transparency.

The competition saw a good number of participants that accounts for a hundred and five students. It would not be wrong to say that students participated with full zest and zeal. It was tough to judge such a good number of participants but in the end, the winner is only one.

Therefore, following the process, expressing eloquently on Farmer Bill, Stuti Jain of B. A (B.ED.) bagged the first prize. Later, Dr. Girja Shanker Tiwari and Dr Vinay Pandey speak about the problems which are being faced by our farmers and what we can do to uplift the status of the small farmers.

The programme was concluded by Dr. Archana Negi, coordinator of cultural activities with a vote of thanks.
