Session on National Innovation and Start-Up Policy

The Innovation Institute Cell of Teerthanker College of Nursing, TMU organized a informative speech on “National Innovation and Start-up Policy” on 04/01/2021 from 11AM to 12:30 PM at Smart Class, TMCON.

The event was initiated by Innovation Institute Cell of Teerthanker College of Nursing, TMU to inculcate the concept of innovation ideas and start-up policies for the students which will enhance the students to become visionary and focus on lifetime achievements.

Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, Joint-Registrar, TMU, was the Key Note Speaker for the event.

Total of 100 Students of B.Sc. (N) 4th year and Post Basic B.Sc. (N) 2nd year, the total participants in the program along with the students faculty members also participated. The program was started with the welcome speech by Ms. Gulshan Social Media and IPR coordinator, B.Sc. (N) 4th year.

Then the event was preceded with the speech of Prof. Shreenath K Kulkarni, Principal, IIC President TMCON who emphasized on the National Innovation and start-up Policy. He explained about how Innovation ideas can be milestones for nurses. And if there is a change the nurses can do and it’s know the time to bring the change. He also said that a start up policy which is a next updating form of education in our system.

Key Speaker Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, Joint-Registrar, TMU gave an informative speech on the National Innovation and Start-up Policy 2020. In that Ministry of HRD has established MRHD’S Innovation Cell with the mandate to work closely with our Higher Education Institute (HEIs) to encourage the creative energy of our student’s population to work on new ideas and innovation and promote them to create start- ups.

She explained about various personalities who became billionaire by the innovative ideas. The speaker also motivated the students for creative thinking and uses their skills for inventing that would help the country for its further development. She concluded it by introducing start –up policy 2019 of national Innovation. The session was ended up by giving new innovative ideas to students related to their profession and motivated them to participate in upcoming innovative competitions.

Then the program was ended at 12.30 pm successfully with the vote of thanks by Mr. Jaivin Jaisingh.J, Assistant Professor, IIC Convener of TMCON.
