Session on National Educational Policy 2020

The National Educational Policy 2020 was organized by Innovation & Startup Cell of Teerthanker Mahaveer college of Nursing, TMU on 28/12/2020 from 11.00 AM to 12:30 PM at Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Nursing. (Multipurpose Hall)

The focus of the Orientation session was to educate and create awareness for the students about the vision of National Educational Policy 2020 that contributes to equality. It was very well-planned session and many students and voluntarily participated in this session.

It began with the welcome speech by Ms. Meenakshi Mandalay, Innovation Coordinator, Start-Up Coordinator, B.Sc. Nursing IIIrd year, TMCON. Then the event was preceded with the speech given by Prof. Shreenath K Kulkarni, Principal, IIC President, TMCON who emphasized that the National Education Policy 2020 and its changes in the coming year with social support for all groups.

Key Speaker Mr. Jaivin Jaisingh J., Assistant Professor, Convener, Innovation Activity Coordinator of IIC gave an informative speech on the National Educational Policy 2020. In that Ministry of HRD has established MRHD’S Innovation Cell with the mandate to work closely with our Higher Education Institute (HEIs) to encourage the creative energy of our student’s population to work on new ideas and innovation and promote them to create start- ups.

The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP2020) is a comprehensive framework for elementary education to higher education as well as vocational training in both rural and urban area. The policy aims to transform India’s educational system by 2030.

As the end of session there was a sense of satisfaction on the faces of volunteers as 150 students including faculties were participated. Program was ended at 12.30 pm successfully with the vote of thanks.
