Teerthanker Mahaveer University successfully organised Saamarthya Bodh 4.0, a two-day mock recruitment drive held on April 8 and 9, 2026. The event was conducted by the Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Development (CTLD) to evaluate and improve the placement readiness of B.Tech. pre-final year and MCA final year students. The event aimed to give students a real-time experience of the recruitment process and prepare them for future job opportunities.

The programme started with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and Saraswati Vandana. After this, the Director of CTLD, Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Kumar Singh welcomed the Chief Guest, Dean of Academics Prof. (Dr.) Manjula Jain. She addressed the students and highlighted that skill development is equally important as academic learning. She encouraged students to focus on communication skills and interview preparation.

Day 1: Expert Talk and Written Test

On the first day of Saamarthya Bodh 4.0, an expert talk was delivered by corporate expert Mr. Vinay Singh, Director of Litwork, Hyderabad. He shared valuable insights about industry expectations, interview techniques, and employability skills. He clearly explained that in today’s competitive world, having a degree is not enough. Students must also develop skills, confidence, and a learning attitude.

After the session, students appeared for a Written Assessment Test. The test included questions on aptitude, reasoning, verbal ability, ICT skills, and technical subjects. A total of 265 students participated in this round. Out of them, 77 students successfully cleared the test and moved to the next stage, which was the Group Discussion.

Day 2: Group Discussion and Final Interviews

On the second day, the shortlisted students took part in group discussions. This round tested their communication skills, leadership qualities, and clarity of thought. From this round, 50 students were selected for the technical and HR interviews.

In the final stage, students faced detailed interviews conducted by expert panels. Their technical knowledge, confidence, and overall personality were evaluated. Finally, 25 students were selected and awarded Mock Job Offer Letters, which boosted their confidence and gave them a clear idea of the real placement process.

Outstanding Results and Achievements

Saamarthya Bodh 4.0 witnessed impressive results. Among the selected students, 5 received mock offers with a package of 10 LPA, 8 students received 6 LPA, and 12 students received 4 LPA. This achievement highlighted the success of the programme in preparing students for high-level opportunities.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. (Dr) R.K. Dwivedi, appreciated the initiative and said that such events are very important for making students industry-ready. He also mentioned that practical exposure helps students understand real-world challenges.

Conclusion

Overall, Saamarthya Bodh 4.0 proved to be a highly beneficial and successful event. It provided students with a complete experience of the recruitment process and helped them improve their skills. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Mr Anant Bhardwaj, Master Trainer – CTLD. The active participation of students and the efforts of the CTLD team made Saamarthya Bodh 4.0 a meaningful step towards better placement preparation and career success.
