Mission Shakti 5.0 Dance Competition at TMU Promotes Women's Empowerment Through Creative Expression
Moradabad, [Date] – In continuation with the Mission Shakti 5.0 initiative of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the College of Pharmacy, Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), organised a Dance Competition dedicated to raising awareness on women’s safety, dignity, and empowerment. The event leveraged artistic expression as a powerful tool to communicate socially relevant messages and inspire collective responsibility.
Objective of the Programme
The key objectives of the dance competition were:
- To promote awareness regarding women’s safety, dignity, and empowerment through cultural and creative performance.
- To encourage student participation, confidence, and sensitivity towards women’s issues by using dance as an influential medium of communication.
Programme Activities
A total of 25 girl students actively participated in the competition, presenting compelling performances that highlighted themes of strength, resilience, and social responsibility.
The judging panel comprised:

Based on their evaluation, the winners were:
- 1st Prize – Afsha
- 2nd Prize – Parshwi Jain
- 3rd Prize – Ananya Goel
