IEEE Day 2025 Celebrated at TMU with Innovation, Creativity and Technical Excellence
Moradabad, October 30, 2025:
The IEEE Student Branch (SB15123) and IEEE WIE Affinity Group (15123) of Teerthanker Mahaveer University celebrated IEEE Day 2025 from 28th to 30th October 2025 at CCSIT, under the theme “Innovate • Inspire • Ignite.” The three-day celebration brought together hundreds of students from engineering, computer applications, and science disciplines for a series of high-energy events, competitions, and technical showcases.
Inaugural Ceremony: Inspiring Start to IEEE Day 2025
The celebration commenced with an inaugural ceremony at LT-2, CCSIT, graced by Prof. (Dr.) V.K. Jain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, TMU. In his keynote address, he highlighted the growing responsibility of young technologists in shaping a future driven by ethical and sustainable innovation.
The ceremony opened with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a welcome note by Ms. Rohaila Naaz, Event Coordinator and IEEE WIE Advisor. She also delivered the Annual Report Presentation, outlining the achievements, projects, and contributions of the IEEE Student Branch and WIE Affinity Group during the academic year.
Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, delivered an insightful talk on “The Advantage of Professional Networking in IEEE”, encouraging students to engage with global professional communities for career advancement.
The inauguration concluded with a Vote of Thanks, followed by a successful IEEE Membership Registration Drive with enthusiastic student participation.

IEEE Day 2025 featured a diverse lineup of technical, innovative, and recreational activities. Students from B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, MCA, M.Tech, and M.Sc actively participated, demonstrating teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
