GLIMPSE OF World ORAL HEALTH DAY CELEBRATION-2019TMDCRC
The Department of Periodontology, Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College and Research Centre, Moradabad under the guidance of Professor and Head, Dr. Deepa Arun celebrated Oral Health Day on 20th March 2019.
?The Principal of the college, Prof. Dr. Manish Goyal graced the occasion and distributed free supplies of medicines, tooth-pastes, brushes, mouthwashes etc. to the patients who can?t afford it.
TMDCRC conducts social activities regularly. Students actively take part in such occasions and interact with the patients to make sure the patients are made aware of common myths, disbeliefs etc. TMDCRC actively partakes in social campaigns for the students and more so for their patients. TMDCRC is one of the best listed BDS & MDS colleges, as they believe in giving young doctors more freedom and exposure to real scenarios.
Faculty members Dr. Karthik Krishna, Dr. Shalabh Mehrotra, Dr. Bhavna Jha, Dr. Gouri Bhatia, along with the postgraduate students actively participated in the program.
During this day patients attending the OPD were educated about the importance of oral hygiene with the help of models and videos, charts for better emphasis & explaining about oral hygiene. Such posters were displayed throughout the department too.
