Crossroads 5.0: Inter-University Case Study Competition at TMU Boosts Student Innovation
The Centre for Teaching, Learning and Development (CTLD) successfully organised the Crossroads 5.0 Case Study Competition, its first inter-university case study event, at TMU on February 21, 2026. The competition was based on the theme “Sustainable Futures: Navigating Ethical and Environmental Dilemmas” and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across India.
The Crossroads 5.0 Case Study Competition received an overwhelming response, with 99 teams registering from various universities and institutions. After a detailed evaluation process, only 13 top teams qualified for the final round.
Participants presented case studies on real-world challenges related to sustainability, ethics, business, and environmental issues. The Competition encouraged students to showcase their analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and innovative ideas.
Expert Insights and Judging Panel
The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr Harbansh Dixit, Dean of Law and Legal Studies, who highlighted the importance of ethics and sustainability in modern careers. He emphasised that platforms like the Crossroads 5.0 Case Study Competition prepare students for real-life decision-making.

- Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh, Director – CTLD
Dr Neelima Jain appreciated the participants’ presentation skills and noted that students demonstrated responsible and balanced thinking. Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh added that the Crossroads 5.0 Case Study Competition aligns with CTLD’s goal of promoting experiential learning and employability skills.

- Third Position: Team Decision Architects (TMIMT, TMU)
Merit awards were also given to teams from TMU and other institutions for their outstanding efforts.

Faculty members from institutions like Wilsonia Degree College and Dewan V.S. Institute of Engineering and Technology appreciated the Crossroads 5.0 Case Study Competition for promoting teamwork, academic excellence, and practical learning. The event also saw participation from TMCON, TMIMT, Shri Venkateshwara University, and CCSIT, making it a truly collaborative platform.
