CDE programme on Statistical methods and career prospects

Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College & Research Centre's Department of Public Health Dentistry had organized a CDE program on the topic of Statistical methods and career prospects on 14 October 2019.

The CDE began at 11.00 AM with a welcome speech by Dr. Manish Goyal (Principal & Head) and highlighted the importance of Statistical methods and career prospects. An inauguration ceremony was carried out by the hands of Professor Raghuvir Singh, Vice-Chancellor, TMU.

In his brief talk, Professor Raghuvir Singh, Vice-Chancellor, enlightened the attendees about the importance of research. The CDE was designed to help every participant to know & apply the knowledge of the basics of Statistical Methods Type and how to implement the various Health researches.

The CDE had 118 registrations for this program, including postgraduates 63, Interns 38, and faculty 27 from different branches. This CDE also enabled the delegates to develop critical evaluation skills for different study designs and will help them in the future to convert the descriptive journal clubs into critical evaluation journal clubs. The sessions were very interactive, and productive discussions were observed amongst the participants and the resource persons.
