UPOA e-PGCON 2024: Postgraduate Orthopedic Research Conference
Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), Moradabad, organized the UPOA e-PGCON 2024, a unique and exclusive platform for postgraduate students to showcase their original research in orthopedics. The conference, held on January 20–21, 2024, was themed “Strong Bones, Stronger Nation” and emphasized academic excellence and research training, aligning with the vision of the Indian Orthopedic Association and the U.P. Orthopedic Association.
Conference Highlights
- The event was organized by the Department of Orthopaedics at Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College and Research Centre, in association with the Moradabad Orthopedic Club.
- TMU Moradabad, accredited with NAAC A Grade and 12-B status from UGC, provided a prestigious academic environment for the conference.
- The conference featured Best Paper and Best Poster awards, encouraging high-quality research presentations from postgraduate students.
Participation and Submission
- Participation was open to all postgraduate students, with mandatory registration and a requirement to submit at least one abstract (maximum three allowed).
- Abstracts were to be submitted in a structured format, including AIMS, OBJECTIVES, METHODS, RESULTS, and CONCLUSIONS, with strict guidelines on formatting and content.
- The last date for abstract submission was December 15, 2023, and registration was free for presenters.
Organizing Leadership
- The event was led by a distinguished organizing committee, including Prof. Manmohan Sharma (Organizing Chairman), Prof. Amit Saraf (Organizing Secretary), and other senior faculty members.
- Patronage was provided by university leadership, including Shri Suresh Jain (Chancellor) and Shri Manish Jain (Group Vice Chairman).
